Stop period
• The piston rod must be coated with anti corrosive coating, and the air inlet and air outlet of air filter must be sealed.
• All devices shall be preheated and test run for 15 min or so after stop for 6 months.
• The protective measures must be taken after test run.
9.7.3 End of stop period
The following steps shall be taken when the excavator is reused:
• The anti corrosive coating must be removed from the piston rod.
• The air inlet and air outlet of air filter must be opened.
• Check the main filter element/security filter element of air filter; if necessary, replace it.
• Clean the excavator with neutral detergent.
• If the stop period is beyond 6 months, the oil in different devices (such as transmission device) must be replaced.
• If the stop period is beyond 6 months, the hydraulic oil filter (the installed pressure filter, return oil filter and breathing filter) must be replaced.
• The excavator must be lubricated according to the lubrication schedule. See the layout of lubricating points.
